Frequently Asked Questions
What is Coaching?
Coaching provides a confidential, non-judgemental space for individuals to reflect on where they're at and set incremental, achievable goals for where they want to be. Coaching is non-directive. It involves a coach actively listening to client, asking questions and using feedback. Coaching can be completely transformational and very empowering. Every person's situation will be different and I work with clients to establish what they want to focus on, what they want to get out of coaching, and how we can best work together. That typically starts with a free, no obligation 30 minute session to get a sense of how the coaching works and whether we are the right fit.
How many coaching sessions will I have?
While each case is different, I typically work with clients over six sessions or more. This allow trust to develop and reflects the fact that meaningful change needs space and takes time.
I have more questions.
You can contact me via email or via this contact page. I am always happy to answer any questions you might have and discuss options.
How much does coaching cost?
Pricing varies depending on whether coaching is for an individual researcher or research leader and whether it is privately or institutionally funded. Please contact me for more information.
